June 1963 to September 1963. Boot Camp was just like being at St. Francis Boys Home in Ellsworth, Kansas. The boys home was like a pre educational military boot camp. Your daily schedule was set for you from sunrise to sunset. Lots of training for military life with very little social life. Learned a lot about how to put your trust in other people you barely knew.
