Chesapeake Bay Oyster Buyboats 2008 Cruise Started in Tangier Island, VA for the Islands 400th Birthday. Followed by Ports of Call to the Maryland Towns of Solomon’s Island, Oxford, Cambridge, St. Michaels, Rock Hall then to Georgetown, MD on Sassafras River. Buyboats left home ports from the Sassafras River and Hampton Roads locations to attend the 400th birthday of Tangier Island.
